Rex Clifton Obituary
Born on June 25, 1963, in Shannon, Mississippi, Rex was the son of Arthur Nandez Ford, known as "Boots," and the late Laura Clifton.
While born in Mississippi, Rex spent much of his younger life in Michigan City, Indiana, where he formed many early memories before eventually returning to his home state. In his youth, he was a talented athlete, well-known for his time as a high school basketball player.
He is survived by his father, Arthur "Boots" Ford; his only son, Cortez Perry; and two grandchildren, Chantez Hines Perry and Beckham Hudson Alfonso Perry. He also leaves behind a large family of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Clifton.
