Rex Davis Obituary
Visitation with the family will be held from 10 A.M. until noon, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Highway 377 East in Granbury. A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, at the Rough Creek Cemetery.
Rex was born on October 8, 1960, in Granbury to Glen & Velma Davis. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Rex enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. Additionally, he enjoyed taking care of horses and livestock. Rex drove for GCH Concrete. Most of all, Rex was willing to help anyone in need and particularly loved all children.
Rex is survived by his son, Briar Davis; his father, Glen Davis; mother, Velma Cole; granddaughters, Annie Grace and Emma Lou Webb; stepchildren, Colton (Gabby) McDonald and Brandi Dawn; and by his extended family, friends, and loved ones.
James was preceded in death by his stepmothers, Betty Sue Davis and Jan Davis and by his brother, Duane Davis.
