Rex Lee Haubach, age 71, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Rex was born on September 25, 1954.

Rex was the loving husband of Theresa Haubach, his partner in life for 52 years. Their marriage was built on love, humor, perseverance, and a deep commitment to their family. Together they raised two children who were the center of his pride.

He was a proud father to Nicholas Haubach (Erika) and Kira Haubach (Daniel Freshour). Rex especially treasured his role as Pappa to his two granddaughters, Emersyn and Alexandria, both five years old. They brought him endless happiness, and nothing made him smile more than spending time with his girls.

Rex dedicated over 40 years of his career to Otis Elevator, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to providing for his family. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.

Outside of work, Rex was an avid sports fan who rarely missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams, including the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. He also had a deep love for salmon fishing, especially the trips he shared with friends and family, which created many cherished memories. Rex also enjoyed traveling and valued the time spent experiencing new places with those he loved most.

Above all else, Rex will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, loyal friend, and always being someone others could rely on. His strength, dedication to his family, and kind heart will be deeply missed.

Rex’s family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and the example he set through his life of hard work, love, and commitment. While he is gone, the memories he created and the values he lived by will remain with those who knew him.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
