Rex Thiesing, born on December 31, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 9, 2026, in his hometown. He spent his career as an automotive insurance adjustor after his years of service in the Navy.
Rex is survived by his children, Leann (Josh) Yelvington, Amber (John) Hittle, and Ian (Anna) Thiesing; his grandchildren, Brandon, Nellie, Hank, Ashlyn, Alicyn, and Bailey; his sisters, Beverly Irick and Jane Hubbard; and brother, Raymond Thiesing.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Raymond and Nellie Thiesing; sisters, Arlene Evans, Ragene Chandler, and Carolyn Coffman.
In celebration of Rex’s life, a private gathering will be held, providing family and close friends with the opportunity to share stories and reflect on the ways Rex touched their lives. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
