Rhoada Jane McGuire, 79 of rural Jeromesville passed away Thursday December 25, 2025 surrounded

by her family, after a period of declining health. She was born September 22, 1946 in Ashland the

daughter of Jerry and Isabelle Rhoads Emminger. She was a 1964 graduate of Ashland High School.

Rhoada was a school bus driver for NW distric for several years, then became a tour bus driver for

Pioneer Trails and drove all over the country. She especially enjoyed Alaska trips and the many people

she got to know while driving tour bus. She was much loved sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Garry and Donna McKean of Big Praire, her sister,

with whom she resided, Cheryl Miller, her nieces and nephews, Bryan (Rhonda) McKean, Keith

(Michelle) McKean, Steve (Monica) McKean, Christine (Keith) Strother, Nate (Suetta) Miller, Sarah

Miller, Elizabeth (Steven) Starkey and Leah (Henry) Shetler, many great nieces and nephews, that she

cherished, and her best friend, Shirley Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law, Edward Miller and her St. Bernard, Tilly,

whom she loved.

Private family services will be 11:00 AM Monday December 29, 2025 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville with Daron Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Rowsburg Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
