Rhoda Bateman Obituary
A person whose hands were never idle, Rhoda continued to crochet blankets for family, friends, and many charitable organizations well into her 96th year. Her other passion was her cats, Bailey and Belle, who spent many an afternoon sitting in her lap.
Rhoda is survived by her daughter Kathy (Gary) White, and her son Robert Bateman. Four grandchildren whose visits she truly enjoyed - Alissa, Shannon (Jack), Kelsey and Christian and two great granddaughters Kailee and Makaila who brightened her life. She was predeceased by her sons Joel and Mark.
Thank you to the medical and non-medical staff of Pavilion D at MidState Medical for the care they provided. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Pratt and nurses Fred and Ron who were so supportive during her final days.
Rhoda wished no memorial services but to be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother ("G.G.") and a true friend.
