Rhonda Alonzo Obituary

Bakersfield Rhonda Michelle Alonzo, 57, passed away after a brave battle with cancer, in Bakersfield, California on August 17, 2023.
Rhonda was born in Richmond, Virginia and later moved to Bakersfield where she earned her Associate in Arts and worked as a teacher's aid. She enjoyed helping children, watching classic movies and adored the musician Prince. She also loved a good adventure and was a wonderful storyteller. Rhonda was full of gratitude until her final moments with us.
She is survived by her parents Michael and Patsy, stepmother Sandra, children Jesse, Matthew, and Rhiannon, siblings Tony, Randy, Iris, Charlie, Carla and Ricky, cousin Janice, close friends Helen, Verna, and Michelle as well as many others who love her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held later this year. Let's remember Rhonda today, her birthday, by wearing her favorite color, green.

My dear sweet cousin, I will always remember are special moments of love, fun, laughter and the dreams we shared. Your beautiful soul will live forever in my heart. I will share a fond memory for those who read this. When Rhonda was at the young age of 16, she wanted to be successful enough in California so that she could take care of ALL of her family. She had a loving, sweet heart Your cousin, Rennie My condolences to all her family in California and Virginia.
