Funeral services for Rhonda Jewell will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 1, 2025, from the sanctuary of the Pentecostal Church, Clark’s, LA with Rev. Jeff Masters officiating. Interment will follow at White Swan/Boeuf Prairie Cemetery, Fort Necessity, LA, under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. The family will have visitation at the church prior to the service on Monday, from 11 AM until 2 PM.
Rhonda Camille Jones Jewell, age 71, of Winnsboro, LA was born on June 26, 1954, and passed from this life on November 28, 2025, at the Carpenter House in Shreveport, LA following a brief illness. She was proceeded in death by her father, Harvey Leon "HL" Jones; her mother, Wenona "Pewee" Blount; step-mother, Carole Jones; step-father, Jimmy Taylor; her brothers, Donald Ray Jones; and Stacey Jones; father-in-law, Charles Robert Jewell; and niece, Alanah Jones.
Rhonda worked for many years in home health, taking care of others. She later worked as a housekeeper. She was always a hard worker and enjoyed helping others. Rhonda loved going to junk shops and flea markets looking for hidden treasures. She loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Ray Jewell; her children: Colbee Taylor (Donna), Brian McDaniel, Tina Jones, and Makayla Jones; mother-in-law, Betty Jewell; sisters, Pat Wooley and Angela Jones; brothers, Don Polk (Toni) and Larry Wooley; grandchildren: Summer Delaney and Liam McDaniel; niece, Ashton Jones; and nephews, Holdyn Jones and Jesse Jewell.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sammy Brownell, Jesse Jewell, Gabriel Braswell, Andrew Newton, Blade Kenney, and Sean Parker.
