Rhonda Manning, a beloved mother, sister, and companion, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life. Born on April 8, 1973, in Hart County, Kentucky, Rhonda was a vibrant spirit whose passions painted the lives of those around her in the most colors.
Her profound love for flowers reflected her nurturing heart. Rhonda could often be found tending to her garden, where she cultivated not only beautiful blooms but also cherished memories with her family. Her green thumb was matched only by her exceptional talent as a cleaner, a skill she took pride in and happily shared, making every space she occupied feel like home.
Rhonda had a gift for conversation, and those who were fortunate enough to interact with her recognized her warmth and genuine interest in others. Whether she was sharing stories or listening intently, she made everyone feel valued and heard. Her love for animals was another testament to her caring nature, demonstrating her connection to the world around her.
Rhonda is survived by her devoted companion, Miguel Saldana, who brought joy and companionship into her life. She leaves behind her cherished children: Thalia Saldana and Sean Cherry, whose lives she filled with love and encouragement. The joys of motherhood extended through her grandchildren, Patrick and Ryleigh Cherry, who were a light in her life and the embodiment of her legacy.
She is also mourned by her loving siblings, Sharon Jones, Kenneth Tanksley, and Richard Tanksley, each of whom carries a part of her spirit within them.
As we come together to honor Rhonda's life, we invite friends and family to remember her vibrant spirit and the love she shared. Visitation will be held at Cone Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on October 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Rhonda will then be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Rhonda's love and the memories she created will forever resonate in our hearts. Her life was a tapestry of warmth, compassion, and joy, and her spirit will continue to bloom in all who loved her.
