Rhonda Carol Morrison, 76 years old, of Columbus, Mississippi, passed away on September 30, 2025 at her residence. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11am at Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Corey Hall officiating. Visitation will be October 2,2025 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Memorial Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Ms. Morrison was born January 5, 1949, in Linden, Alabama, to the late Charles D. Morrison and Ella Ree Philen Morrison. She was a graduate of Caledonia high school and worked many years at United Technology until her retirement. Ms. Morrison was an avid viewer of the Altar church and enjoyed time with her family. Especially her grandchildren. She was an extremely talented artist and enjoyed making mosaic art pieces and painting. Her talents were limitless and rarely did she find things she couldn’t do.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Randy Lane Locke and Philip Neal Locke, her sister Cheryl Ann Woodhouse, and brother Charles Michael (Mike) Morrison.
Ms. Morrison is survived by her daughter Wendy Locke Henderson of Columbus, Mississippi. Grandchildren Mercede (Caleb) Myers of Columbus, Mississippi, Michael Chase (Madison) Henderson of Caledonia, Mississippi, Rilley (Jacob) Bozeman of Caledonia, Mississippi, Cody and Randi Locke of Tampa, Florida. Great grandchildren, Karter and Korbin Plumb, Kendall and Keely Bozeman, and Paisley Henderson.
Pallbearers are Josh West, Blake Burke, Jacob Bozeman, Chase Henderson, and Karter Plumb.
