Rhonda Lea Touhey, 75, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 9, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Presston and Helen (Knott) Flemming. On May 5, 1984 at there home on County Line Road in New Carlisle she married Thomas Charles Touhey who preceded her in death on August 21, 2003. Rhonda is survived by one daughter, Dawn Powers of New Carlisle, Indiana, one son, Kevin (Cherie) Luhrsen of South Bend, Indiana, three grandchildren, Kari (Ryan), Carlie and Haley (Cory), and seven great-grandchildren, Payson, Elliott, Leorah, Emerson, Carson, Hayden and Mia. She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, James Powers and one brother, Darrell Flemming.

A Memorial Service will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday August 8, 2025 at the First Brethren Church, 4909 S. Ironwood Dr. South Bend, IN 46614. Light snacks will be provided for everyone. Private family burial will take place at New Carlisle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Rhonda's honor.
