Ricardo "Ric" Gonzales Andres, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 20th, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 11, 1941, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines, Ric lived a life of dedication, service, and love. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 25 years, where he earned recognition for his skills as a sharpshooter, served in reconnaissance, and worked in military police. After retiring from the military, Ric continued to serve his community through his work at FDR, where he retired after 15 years. Ric is survived by his devoted wife Remy; his children Rick, Ron, and Raschel; and his cherished grandchildren Maddox, Bella, and Rylan. His family was the center of his world, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
Outside of his work and service, Ric enjoyed the simple pleasures of life - fishing, bowling, and playing cards. He was a man of quiet strength, quick wit, and deep love.
He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, warm heart, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. Ric's legacy of love and service lives on through his family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Visitation and Rosary service will be held on October 23rd, 2025, at Roeder Mortuary - 108th Chapel. A funeral service will be held on October 24th, 2025, at St. Leo's Catholic Church - 1920 N 102nd St.
