Obituary of Ricardo Batres
Ricardo Batres, 35, of Hollister CA, passed away May 4th, 2025 in San Jose CA.
Funeral services including Rosary and viewing will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory 870 San Benito Street Hollister CA 95023 on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 from 3pm - 7pm. Religious Ceremony will be held the following day; Monday, May 19th, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7290 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos, CA 95075 at 11:00 am.
Ricardo Batres was born in San Jose, CA to the parents of Gregorio and Maria Teresa Batres on May 30th, 1989. He went to Independence High School in San Jose, CA and graduated the year of 2007. He went on to earn an Associate's degree in Business Administration from DeAnza College. He worked as a Surgery Scheduler for Kaiser Permanente for 10 years. Some of his hobbies and activities he enjoyed doing were playing and watching sports, playing music, knew how to play various instruments and knew how to sing as he had an amazing voice. He was a great cook, and enjoyed cooking for his family at all times. He was a very social person, talked to everyone, always with a happy spirit. Ricardo was a family oriented person. He married his wife Susana Ramirez and had two beautiful and amazing children; Ricardo Alonzo Batres and Abigail Batres. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and always made sure his wife and children were taken care of and knew how much he loved them.
Ricardo is survived by his wife, his two children, his parents and his two siblings. Ricardo is also survived by many family members including nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and his grandparents.
Ricardo will forever be remembered, loved and missed. We will always keep his smiles, happy spirit and his amazing singing voice in our hearts. We are thankful and blessed to have known him and have had him in our lives.
