Ricardo Earlye Obituary

Ricardo (Rick) Earlye passed peacefully from this life the early morning of April 27th in San Diego, after his battle with numerous ailments. He was surrounded and supported by his family and a few close friends. Rick was born in Newark, New Jersey on May 12, 1960 but grew up in Oakland, CA. Rick met his wife in 1997 and they raised their two children in San Diego county until they moved to Temecula, CA to be closer to family in 2018. Rick has touched and helped many people throughout his life from writing at the LA Weekly, serving in the Navy, working for IT in the healthcare industry, and even through his music. Rick even won a music award in 2015.
Rick is survived by his wife of 26 years (Janet Earlye), three children (Erickka Whitby, Michael and Whitney Earlye), grandson (Nathaniel Earlye) and sisters (Angela Earlye and Renee Esplana).
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 1pm. Location: Murrieta Valley Funeral Home, 24651 Washington Ave., Murrieta, CA 92562. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to https://gofund.me/f8f74c3a
