Ricardo Joseph Legleu, Sr.

Ricardo Joseph Legleu, Sr., 74, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 7:47 a.m. He was a native of Lockport and a resident of Golden Meadow, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Thursday, January 15, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Ricardo was survived by his son, Ricardo J. Legleu, Jr.; daughters, Lorrie L. Collins and husband, Nick, and Michelle L. Gage; grandchildren, Scott Lee II and wife, Savannah, Bruce Lee, Dominic Matheson, Heaven Legleu, Lexie Legleu, Harley Cheramie and husband, Blaise, Dylan Falgout, Kiley Legleu, and Rainee Gage; and great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Elijah, Beckham, Emma, Logan, Adeline, Wyatt, Cole, Conner, and Ryott.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Legleu and Earline Naquin; son-in-law, Michael W. Gage; and sister Nora Ann Legleu.

What our dad loved most was his family. Nothing lit him up more than his grandbabies and great-grandbabies. He loved playing with them, laughing with them, and just being in their world. You could see it on his face — that pure joy, that pride. Around them, he softened even more than he already was.
