Ricardo Lopez El Chino, 62 years old, passed away in Sheboygan on October 23, 2025. He was born in Laredo, Texas on August 1, 1963 to the late Pascual and Maria T. Lopez.
Ricardo was very good at fixing anything, and worked as a handy man for most of his adult life. He loved spending time playing basketball, and like any Wisconsinite, enjoyed his bon fires with his sister Nelva, who took care of him and was like a mother to him. He spent many Sundays eating chicken wings and watching his favorite team, the Packers, with his great nephew Jianni Ricardo. Jianni loved his uncle and made him laugh all the time. His brother-in-law Pancho was very close to him, like a brother. He will be greatly missed, especially by his sister Nelva, who was like a mom to him, and all his family.
Ricardo is survived by his siblings Guadalupe Hernandez, Maria Soto, Nora Flores, Raul and Martin Lopez, Nelva Lopez and brother-in-law Pancho Arredondo. He is further survived by many nephews and nieces, uncles, aunts and many other relatives and friends.
Ricardo is preceded in death by his beloved son Jeffery Lopez and his mom Pamela, his brother Rene Lopez, nephews Marisol Lopez and Juan Pablo, and his parents.
A funeral service will take place at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th St, on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Joe Zenk officiating. Relatives and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
