Ricardo Ortiz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory - Manitowoc on Dec. 4, 2025.
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ricardo Guzman Ortiz, whose kind, generous, and radiant spirit left an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A computer engineer who brought his skills to his village by having the first robot server in his own restaurant, a father to two beautiful girls, a faithful husband and a great brother.

Ricky, as we lovingly called him, was a man with a noble heart-always ready to serve without hesitation. His ingenuity amazed everyone around him, his sense of humor brought countless moments of laughter, and his warmth and charisma could brighten even the gloomiest of days. His departure leaves an immense emptiness, yet he also leaves behind a powerful legacy of bravery, strength, and unwavering goodness that will endure forever.

He will live eternally in the hearts and thoughts of all his family.

From Malou:
My Love:
"You have been my world, my pillar, the one who spoiled my every whim, and beyond. Tirelessly strong, smart, funny, you are an inspiration to everyone who knows you."

From his sister Guirna:
"You were kindness, service, and a charisma that lit up every room. You will always live in my heart and in my thoughts, my dear brother."

From his sister Blanca:
"Dear little brother, I will miss your quirks, your sudden jokes, your calls, your rushed conversations. You will always be in my mind and in my heart."

From his sister Mary:
Brother, your humility, charisma, and great heart were always your defining qualities, leaving us with an immense emptiness impossible to fill."

From his brother Tavio:
"A great human being who always left a mark on everyone who knew him-especially on my family. My brother, My PARCERO!"

From his brother Pedro:
"A great human being with far more virtues than flaws; he gave us so much love that he gave away his whole heart. But I am certain he remains in the hearts of everyone, especially those of us who had the fortune of sharing life with him. Until we meet again, my brother."

The family deeply appreciates the expressions of love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
May his light continue to shine in the memory of all.

The following Masses will be said in his name:

At St Michael's in Whitelaw, on Dec 8th at 6:30 PM

At St Mary's in Clarks Mills, on Dec 9th at 8:00 AM
