Dear Family,
I remember your dad fondly. I appreciate all the kindness your family shared by including me in your family activities. Your parents provided me with opportunities I would not have otherwise experienced. Thinking of you at this difficult time, but smiling when I think of your mom and dad and all the fun we had!

To Barb, Dianne and Leslie,
My dad shared with me the loss of your father in an email. So many years ago, we did synchronized swimming at Wilson and the downtown YWCA. We shared carpooling duties to weekly practices. My family sends their condolence to you with the passing of your dad. My memories are focused around swimming. Our world had so much joy; laughter and happiness dominated our lives. This year we have been cleaning out the family house and I came across photos from HS. Trim Trouts and pink elephant costumes. Dianne - you were in one with Emmy Stein and Leslie.
What an inspiration and blessing to have had him for so many years. Thank you for sharing his life before Tacoma and contributions during his career.
Elaine
