Richard "Rick" Bartha

Richard "Rick" Bartha, age 49, of Wyandotte passed away on January 26, 2026. Loving son of Richard (Michelle) Bartha and Stephanie (Stash Staniszewski) Bartha. Dear brother of Stacy Marion, Jeremy Bartha and Shawn (Kimberly) Staniszewski. Stepbrother of Shannon (Mitch) Hancock, JP (Danielle) Pandoff and Michael Pandoff. He also had 2 bonus sisters Tiffany Waple and Tricia (Derek) Grzembski. Dear uncle of Sarah Marion, Eli Bartha, Shawn Staniszewski and Cameron Staniszewski. He's survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Although a single man, he remained friends with Laura Bartha after their 20 years of marriage.

Rick loved fishing. He enjoyed his yearly fishing trips at Fletchers Pond with his brother Jeremy along with his nephew Eli and fishing at the family cottage at Black Lake was a special place for him. As a young man, Rick went deer hunting at St Helen with his dad. He loved to watch football, especially the University of Michigan, where he attended many games . He had a huge Air Jordan shoe collection, always matching his shoes to his outfit. When he walked into a room, he lit it up with his smile. You could find him listening to country music often. Rick was also a proud Marine veteran. Above all else, he loved his family and friends. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for anyone. To have Rick as a friend was to have him as a friend for life.
