He was the husband of Ella (Smith) Belleman, to whom he would have been married 47 years on September 3, 2024.
Born in Richland on January 30, 1935, he was a son of the late George and Elsie (Ream) Belleman.
Richard was a 1953 graduate of Richland High School. He was employed as a manager at Richland Knitting Mills for almost 50 years, retiring in 2000. Richard was a meticulous woodworker.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda, wife of Randy Ward, of Portugal; sons, Mike, husband of Vicki Belleman, of Richland, Dwight, husband of Kim Belleman, of Richland; grandchildren, Jake, Jonathan, Joshua, Amber, Devin; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Rabecka, Makayla, Jack, Avery, Makayla, Jeremy, Madilynn, Kiyana, Destiny, Austin, Alyssa; great-great-grandsons, Braxton and Adryan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, James Belleman.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown.
Inurnment will be private.
