Richard Benjamin "Ben" Jordan, 34, passed away October 8, 2022.

Ben was born in Savannah, Georgia to Tina Louise Lamb Jordan and Richard Bland Jordan II on January 2, 1988. Ben was a happy and loving child who truly loved his mother and big sister. The family remained in Savannah until Richard's passing when Ben was three years old.

Ben was raised by his mother and step-father, Melvin Stanley, who became Ben's dad and taught him the values of hard work and love for family. Under his parents' influence, Ben became an upstanding young, respectful, hard-working, loving man who had a heart of pure gold. He was easy going, funny, and light-hearted. He always had a helping hand for those that needed it, giving of his time and effort unselfishly whenever called upon.

He worked as a jockey truck operator at Fuji Oil, a job that he enjoyed, where he spent long dirty hours working to support his family. He was a wonderful provider. When he wasn't working, he could often be found watching football and yelling at the TV for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs and Green Bay Packers. And never missed an opportunity to rag his Aunt Jerri about her love of Tom Brady.

Ben was a true mama's boy, having a hug always at the ready for her, along with a kiss and a "Love you Mama". He never failed to remind her everyday that as long as he was on the Earth, she would be taken care of, no matter what happened. He was the BEST kid in the world.

Being a good brother was important to Ben. He was the middle child but often acted as the big brother to his older sister Christina and his little brother Timmy. He looked out for them his whole life. When Christina had her children, his heart swelled with love for his nephews. He was so proud to be called Uncle Ben.

Perhaps the happiest Ben ever had been, was the day he met the love of his life, Gabby Watson. She brought so much light and positivity to his life. She graced him with a son to love and cherish, a family of his own to grow and love more than anything in this world.

Ben is preceded in death by his father, Richard Bland Jordan II.

He is survived by his mother, Tina L. Jordan (Jermaine Griffin); dad, Melvin Stanley (Jenny); sister, Christina Rericha; special friend and brother-in-law, David Rericha; brothers, Eric Munn and Timmy Stanley (Candie Krenisky); maternal grandparents, Jerry and Brenda Lamb; paternal grandparents, Janie Williams and Richard Bland Jordan I; aunts, Jerri Lamb (Jennifer) and Janet Korp (Terry); uncle, Tommy Lamb; nephews, Devyn and Jayce; cousin that was more like a nephew, Marshall; his girlfriend and love of his life, Gabby Watson; son, Sebastian "Bash" Watson; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 1pm, with the family receiving friends from Noon until the time of the service, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel 2794 US Highway 80 W Garden City, Georgia 31408 912-964-2862. The family asks that you wear your Bulldogs colors to the service in Ben's honor or just come as you are.
