Richie and I were close friends for many years but as life does it took us in different directions. There is no doubt that if we saw each other today we'd be as close as we ever were. I'm so very sad to hear of his passing and hope his family finds comfort in knowing that Richie was a kind, gentle person, and was a great friend. Gone too soon.

REST EASY RICH

Rich is my cousin and was my best friend when we were little. We grew up playing football in the vacant lot around the corner, riding bikes, playing the Dukes of Hazard in the old Mustang in grandma's garage, running around in the woods at Uncle Fred's, fishing at the shop or canoeing down the creek. There was always an adventure for us. As we grew up, we went our separate ways but reconnected through bicycling. We began taking day trips biking around Illinois and Wisconsin including biking Door Co. Rich was a great person, a kind person and a free spirit always up for an adventure. He will be missed deeply.
