Rick was a good friend during high school at ICHS. My condolences to Rick's family at their loss of really good guy and my KofC brother knight.

Rick was one of the first ones in our IC class to get a driver´s license. In High School it seemed like almost every Sunday afternoon he would pick up several of us and we´d head over to a little sandwich and pizza place close to Montezuma. There was notorious competition at pinball and pool with Rick undoubtably the pinball wizard. Rick would never let me forget when I accidentally broke the glass on one of the machines. We had many fun times together.

There was a Saturday night when a bunch of us left our cars at Rick´s home and got into one car to tour the excitement of downtown Celina :) Sunday morning I woke up remembering that I left my parent´s car at Rick´s home. Running out the front door, I was shocked to see the car parked in the front of the house. Rick and other´s pushed the car across town so that my parents and I could make it to mass on time. Rick was a real instigator of some interesting times.
