Richard H. Bibby

1938 - 2023

Richard H Bibby, 84, passed away on February 7, 2023, in Naples, Florida.

Richard was born Pawtucket, RI to Barbara and Henry Bibby on April 3,1938. He married Judith R Freeman on August 29, 1959, in Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro. He went to school in North Attleboro, MA, and graduated from Southeastern MA University with a BS in Civil Engineering. He worked as a Highway Maintenance Engineer for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for 38 years. In 2002, they permanently moved to Beachview Condominiums on Marco Island where they lived for 20 years. He loved to sit on the lanai and watch the sun set over the ocean. He also loved to play golf, cards, and pool. In 2021, they moved to Naples.

Richard is survived by his wife Judy, his son Mark Bibby, and his daughters Jan Hochadel and Cheryl Reinbold. In addition to his four grandchildren - Taryn Reinbold, Lindsay Hochadel, Katelyn Hochadel, and Timothy "Jake" Hochadel. Richard also leaves behind his younger brother David, his wife Karen, and the families of their three children, Scott, Jason, and Steve. He also leaves four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family asked that there be no calling hours or services, but Richard wished for his family and friends to celebrate his life together in laughter and love.
