Richard H. Black

Richard H. Black 87, of, Susquehanna Twp., passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at The Gardens of Camp Hill, with his loving family by his side. Richard was born on September 28, 1938 in Royersford Montgomery County PA.; and was a son to the late Lloyd and Naomi (Kaltreider) Black.

Richard successfully owned and operated Brinrac Equipment for many years and drove long haul trucks until his retirement.He was a lifelong Washington sports fan including the Nationals and the Commanders. He loved to watch NASCAR during the racing season and never turned down a hot cup of black coffee.

Richard met and married the love of his life Janet (Eckert) Black and together they celebrated 68 years of marriage. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Janet Black, a son, Farrell Black and wife Darlene, daughters, Jody M. Lawler, Gwendolyn D. Black and husband Philip Flipse, Holly Black – Kania and husband David Kania, grandchildren, Tess Black Hurley and husband Justin Hurley, Kimberley Lawler and Mike Lusaitis, John Lawler, Palmer Flipse, McKenzie Kania, great grandchildren, Jackson Lusaitis, William Lusaitis, Camden Hurley and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sisters, Dorothy Miller and Ruth Warner. In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Merrill Black and sister, Orpha Diller.
