It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Richard Steven Brady, Jr., also known as Steven Brady on October 20, 2025, at the age of 48. Steven was born on March 4, 1977, in Bastrop, Louisiana.

A graveside service for Steven Brady will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Sammy Tuner officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Steven was known for his amazing sense of humor and charisma. He spent 20 years dedicated to his career as a railroad Conductor. The last 11 of those years were spent at Union Pacific Railroad Smart-TD Local 1545. His kindness and his love for his family and friends will forever remain in the heart of those who knew him.

Steven is preceded in death by his father Richard Steven Brady.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jennifer Brady; his two sons, Kameron Brady and Jordon Brady; his mother, Beverly Brady; his sister, Kristy Brady, husband Derek Snitker; his nephew, Kayden Brady; and nieces, Sophia and Eden Armstrong.

Honoring Steven as pallbearers will be Neil Chevallier, Chip Harris, Curt Jordan, Kayden Brady, Aaron Armstrong, and Dillon Evans.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The Wellspring Alliance for Families in Monroe, LA.
