Richard Bramlett Obituary
Richard Hughes Bramlett, age 89, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, in Shelbyville, Ky.
He had been a manager at several retail stores including Big Lots and K-Mart. Richard loved to fish. He also had a love for cars and boats and was often attending boat shows and car shows.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bramlett; his parents, Howard and Maude Riddle Bramlett; his son, Chris Bramlett; and his brother, Gene Bramlett (Caroll).
He is survived by his son, Don Gaddie (Patty) of Louisville, Ky.; his daughter, Sherrie Ashcraft (Curtis), of Jacksonville, Fla.; his son, Gregg Gaddie (Nancy); his daughter, Nancy Bramlett Gaddie (Gregg); his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Ky. Burial was at Bagdad Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
