Richard Eugene Breinholt, 84, passed away July 8, 2025. Richard was born in Provo, Utah on February 19, 1941, to Eugene Elwood Breinholt and Evelyn Ellett Breinholt. Richard married Doris Ann McCullough, later divorced. He later married Candace Denise Kinservik.
When Richard was a young child, his family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. Growing up, he enjoyed spending time strength training, wrestling and rough housing with younger brother, Ron and teasing his sister, Becky. He also loved rocking out to the music of Elvis.
After graduating high school, he attended Idaho State University and University of Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance. After college, he went on to enjoy a career as a mortgage underwriter.
During the Vietnam War, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier.
Richard is survived by his wife, Denise; sons, Brian (Terri), Paul and Todd Breinholt; step-sons, Cory and Ean Kinservik; brother, Ronald (Teresa) Breinholt and sister, Rebecca (Jim) Bringard; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Richard’s family is very grateful and thankful to the care team at Maple Springs of Brigham City for all the loving care and kindness offered to Richard during his stay.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
