Just found out the very sad news! I´ll always remember Rick´s friendly & outgoing manner; a real salesman!

I knew Rick professionally, as he and I got hired in at the same time to what is still my employer, Evonik Corporation. We worked hard together, traveled together, and had many business dinners together.

Rick was a classic relationship seller. He wasn't shy, was usually the first guy to stand up and shake someone's hand with smiling eyes and a heartfelt grin. He formed bonds with people quickly and most immediately liked him. He was a charismatic sort of fellow. He always spoke of his wife Alice with great affection and with a twinkle in his eye (he said that he liked "firy readheads" LOL).

The world is a little bit more empty today because of Rick's departure. However I take comfort and hope that Heaven is now his permanent home.

Attached is a picture of Rick and I after a dinner together in Germany, 2016. I will miss him. Rest in peace my old friend.

Shocked to hear of Rick's passing Thoroughly enjoyed Rick's company on both the golf course and pickleball courts. He will be missed

Our deepest sympathy to Esther and family. He was a dear friend, great golfing buddy all around wonderful and joyful man. He'll be dearly missed.
