Richard Charles Brisco

February 19, 1947 – March 1, 2026

Richard Charles Brisco, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on February 19, 1947, Richard lived a life defined by dedication, strength, and an unwavering love for those closest to him. In his younger years, he was an accomplished athlete - a champion swimmer, a black belt in Judo, and a passionate rugby player - demonstrating the discipline and determination that would characterize his life.

Richard shared 58 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sheila. Together they built a life centered on family, laughter, and enduring partnership. He was a proud and loving father to Nicole (Errol) and Clare (Larry), and a cherished grandfather to Abigail and Madelyn, who brought him immense joy and pride.

He is also survived by his sister, Sally (Cliff), and his brother-in-law, Michael, along with extended family and many dear friends.

Richard dedicated more than 50 years of his professional life to the culinary arts, serving as an Executive Chef until his retirement. His passion for food was matched only by his love of bringing people together. Whether in his kitchen or at a gathering of family and friends, Richard had a gift for creating warmth, celebration, and unforgettable memories. He was truly the life of the party, known for his humor, generous spirit, and welcoming heart.

Above all, Richard treasured time spent with family and friends. His legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on in all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
