A hard-working man with a work ethic far better than most, he spent 50 years as a barber and serving his community.
A devoted and selfless father, grandfather and great grandfather, his quick wit, passion for food and talent for connecting with perfect strangers will live on in our memories.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Bruno. Together they built a beautiful and well-loved family that includes three children, Cheryl (Rick) Schimmel Rich (Lisa) Bruno, Maria (Brian) Coffey, ten beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will continue to honor his legacy with love.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Mary's Church, 80 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, NY 12051 on Thursday, November 20th from 10-12 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143.
