Mr. Richard Schubert “Bud” Sessoms, Jr., 60, of Autryville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the son of Richard Schubert Sessoms, Sr. and Emma Pitchford Sessoms. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Steiner of Autryville; niece, Amy Sessoms of Roseboro; and several great nieces and nephews.
