My condolences to all who knew him. I enjoyed reading his obituary, but prefer non-fiction.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Richard Burton´s passing. For 30 plus years, we were fortunate to know him as both a friend and a colleague - a man of integrity, intellect, and kindness. His passion for the law was matched only by his devotion to his family and his beloved University of Miami. Saturdays in the fall often found us tailgaeing and talking Hurricane football, a shared bond that always brought a smile. Richard´s professionalism and humanity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, and warmly remembered.
