I met him through the Homeless Veteran Task Force. He was that example of true Leader. A man who would lead by example getting just as dirty as everyone else doing any task needed. And a wealth of knowledge as deep as the Grand Canyon. Like a diamond cutter he could look at you, once you told him what you wanted to accomplish, he could tell you what you needed to do, to get from that rough diamond of an idea down to that polished glimmering stone IF you were willing to do the work and he would encourage you along the way too. There are too few able to make such a difference in so many lives as he did. We can only hope he continues to help guide all of us in the missions he helped many of us step into....
