Richard Clemow

CLEMOW, Richard E. Sr. 85, passed away on March 23, 2024 at his home in Largo, FL after spending his last weeks surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Shavertown, PA, the oldest of three brothers. Richard was married to his loving wife, MaryAnn, for 58 years. They have three children, Karen Gonzalez (Jeff), Richard Jr. (Angela), and Ronald (Janet). They are blessed with six grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew (Teresa), Michaela, Martina, Ronald Ree, and Richard A. Richard worked for the Florida Department of Insurance for 10 years upon moving to Florida in 1971. Following that, he founded Business & Family Insurors, Inc. in 1982. The agency has been family owned and operated since then, serving our local community. Working with his family, spending time inside the office and out with them has been one of his life's greatest joys. Many long-time friendships were born out of the insurance industry over the years. Richard gave his heart to Jesus Christ as a young man. He spent the rest of his life studying the Bible and teaching God's word to others. He shared the good news of the gospel with everyone he met. His was a life well lived. We would like to thank everyone who prayed, visited, brought food, flowers, or otherwise supported us during this time. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 11 am at Clearwater First Nazarene Church followed by a light lunch. Address is: 1875 Nursery Rd., Clearwater FL.
