How very sorry we were to hear that Rick passed away. We know he has suffered such a long time and is now happy and in a better place. What a wonderful knowledge that one day you will all be together again as a family. Its funny when I try to think of a memory I always go back to this one. Christmas time, Dec. 1954. Dad, Shirley, Betty, Dave and the kids were at our place. Rick & Dave Jr. were pretending they were giving us candy ( but they weren't really, just pretending.) They would bring us our pretend candy and we would pretend we were eating it and they thought that was so funny, going from one person to the next just laughing like crazy. I guess that memory came to my mind first since it is Christmas time and I always remember that every year and what cute little boys they were.
