Richard passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Richard was a resident of Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held at The War Memorial Chapel on the Virginia Tech campus, Blacksburg, VA, Saturday, May 6 2017 at 7:30 P.M. with visitation from 6:30 P.M. till time of services at 7:30 P.M. Memorial services will be in Wise, VA on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wise Baptist Church 211 Spring Ave NE Wise, VA 24293 with Rev. Mike Winters officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the church. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lance and Luke Collie College Fund, Wells Fargo Bank 701 Park Ave SW Norton, VA 24273 or your favorite charity.
