PLATTSBURGH - Richard J. Corron, 81, of Dickson Point Road, passed away on June 23, 2025 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on August 16, 1943 the son of Zephey and Della (Trombley) Corron.
Richard was employed as a custodian for several years for Beekmantown Central School, and prior to that worked for CVPH Medical Center.
He was an avid collector of music and movies, listening to cassette's, 8 tracks and records.
Richard is survived by several nieces and nephews, including, Annette Newell, Ann (Kim) Fortin, Joan Spear, Susan (Milton) LaBier, Joyce (Keith) Sanger, Jannette (Allen) Sanger, Joanne (Scott) Aley, Jeanine (Robert) Healy, and Marie Corron; Richard was also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews including his special great-nephew, Shawn Newell.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Paul (Pauline) Corron, Julius (Alice) Corron, Clifford (Florence) Corron, Hector Corron, and Loretta (Daniel) Healy.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will follow in the Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center thru the CVPH Medical Center Foundation.
