It was always a pleasure to see Richard at Deerfield Valley Supply along with Bob. Better times back then. Rest in Peace Richard.

I will never forget my times with Richard. Being a past firefighter with him and a friend over many years he will always be there in my heart. My blessings to his family.

On behalf of the Town of Wilmington and Selectboard, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Richard Covey family for their loss after Assistant Chief Covey´s long illness. As many residents will know, Richard Covey was a volunteer firefighter for over 45-years, and he was the Assistant Chief for over 30-years. He provided honorable and faithful volunteer service to the town as a firefighter, fire warden and cemetery commissioner. God bless.
