I miss you Richard - You can not imagine how much life has changed -
Almost everything is clouded with the knowledge that you are not here
with us. At times I miss you more intensely. I still look twice at
white pick-up trucks & always at motorcycles. We have the Hope of
seeing you again - on the other side. I am looking forward to that.
Cats are still here - except for Lizzie. Do you know that? - Do you
care about what's going on here -- or are you way too buzy up there in
Heaven.

I remember Richard to be a spontaneous, fun-loving guy who lived live on the edge and never regretted one second of it. We were not very close friends and yet he remains unforgettable

So here it be, your birthday. I've always wondered when people said "There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you" if they really meant it, however, I have been having those days for the past 3 1/2 years. Happy Birthday Rich. I love you and miss you more than imaginable.

Tomorrow marks the anniversery from when you left this world to watch over us all from heaven. It seems as though I only miss you more and it never gets easier.
I love you and Miss you Rich.

Here it is over 2 years later and still daily my heart breaks. Rich was more than words can even describe. His smile and the shine in his eyes will live on forever. I know that he is watching down and still with us daily. Connie, Blase, Kyle and Collette, I am so grateful that I was able to get to know all of you and please know that you are always in my thoughts and I will always be here for all of you.
Rich - I love you and miss you more than imaginable.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the DesMararis family during this bittersweet time; Richard is absent from this world, but is present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8).

I knew Richard quite well, he was a great guy and a wonderful friend. His life was short but i'm sure he lived his life to the fullest. I know that Richard is in heaven, he's an angel.

I knew Richard only casually, through his brother Kyle, but what I did know of him was noble and good. My heart goes out to the Des Marais family.
