Richard Allen "Dink" Dalton, Jr., age 47, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on July 3, 2024. He was born on August 20, 1976, to Richard and Patricia (Angel) Dalton.

Dink worked as a union laborer for Dallman Contractors in Indianapolis. He was an extremely likable, funny and outspoken friend to all who knew him. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, rafting and go-cart racing. Dink was a faithful and loving husband, father and brother, a true family man who loved his children more than anything in the world. He was a selfless soul who always put others before himself. Dink will be truly missed by all.

Dink is survived by his loving wife, Sara of Indianapolis; sons, Garry Blevins of KY, Nicholas Adimare, Nathan Dalton, Noah Dalton, Nevin Dalton; daughters, Brooklynn Dalton of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Faith Blevins, Nevaeh Adimare, Melia Adimare; grandsons, Silas Adimare Dalton, Kai Adimare Dalton and Nicholas Adimare all of Indianapolis, mother, Patricia Angel of Indianapolis and sister, Sabrina (Shawn) Huddleson of Indianapolis,

In addition to his father, Richard Dalton, Sr., Dink was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Blevins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation on Tuesday. Burial will take place in the Floral Park Cemetery .
