Richard Carl Dulaney, Sr., age 77, of Wauseon, passed away on October 24, 2024, at the Grand Rapids Care Center in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Richard was born in Wauseon on February 28, 1947 to the late Herbert and Hazel (Kime) Dulaney. Richard married Ruthann (Beck) on June 15, 1995.
Richard enjoyed working with wood and making many projects for family, friends, and to sell. He retired from Sauder Woodworking after 25 years.
Surviving: wife, Ruthann; sister, Betty Tyson; three sons, Rick (Laura) Dulaney, Tim (Michelle) Dulaney, and Jim (Josie) Dulaney; grandchildren; one step-grandson; great-grandchildren; one niece and nephew; two step-daughters, Marcia (Kirk) Hull and Anita (Kirby) Holman; and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jim Tyson; two infant sisters; and two infant brothers.
Visitation for Richard will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, at North Clinton Church in Wauseon, from 3pm to 7pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the church, at 11am, with Pastor Neil Wyse and Pastor Dan Martin officiating. Burial will be private at the Wauseon Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Elara Caring Hospice or the North Clinton Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon is honored to serve the Dulaney family.
