In loving memory of the man that was chosen by God to be my Dad.
He was blessed with a long, full life of 89+ years, a faithful wife for 68 years, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren (more on the way!).
He was also blessed with eternal life through faith and repentance in Jesus Christ, our Savior; the greatest blessing of all!

The "Bird" has flown away. He played basketball and football in the Air Force while in Japan. Met up with Cousin " Beav " there.

Dick was a California guy! Loved the beach as a young man, and then loved golf and playing golf courses all over the country. Loved Philippe´s in Los Angeles for those French dip sandwiches! Family misses him and will always remember his special ways.

My partner for 68 years and a man who strived to do things right. Loved the game of golf and gave his heart to Jesus in a miraculous event at age 89. God never gave up on him and welcomed him into the Family of God when he prayed for forgiveness. He looked up and said "Thank You" speaking to his Creator and Savior. All praise and glory to God who loves us all. He is now with Jesus experiencing the love we cannot even grasp.

First and foremost Dick was my friend. One of the best friends of my life.
Dick and I spent countless hours together on the golf course. I was always impressed with his kindness, patience and gentle demeanor.
After I married my dear wife Sue, she would join Dick and I on the course. I always appreciated how polite and respectful he was towards Sue.
I had called Dick several months ago, but no answer, so I left a message. I never received a call back. So several days ago I looked online and saw that Dick had passed. Dick didn´t like talking on the phone, but he always came to the phone when I called, if somewhat reluctantly. One time I called and of course Marilyn answered and I asked, "can Dick come out to play". Marilyn got a kick out of that.
Marilyn told me that Dick recently gave his heart and life to Jesus. I couldn´t be more thrilled to know that someday I will see my good friend again.
My sincere condolences to Marilyn and family.
He was and "is" a truly great man.
