Earlier today
I just read that Dick had passed away. I have so many great memories of "Buckwheat". All the minstrel shows and all the "practices" we had; his role as coach for the Stanford's softball team; Friday nights at Patterson's Tavern with Buckwheat, Neal and I; popping in the Diner after an evening of drinking; many more to numerous to mention. My deepest condolences to the family. I'm sorry that I can't make it over to Marienville for the services.
