Richard Emile “Ricky” Fournet, age 70, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Richard was born on March 20, 1955, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He grew up in Baker, Louisiana, where he spent his early years and formed many lasting friendships.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1979.
Richard is survived by his sons, Justin Fournet (Lynn) and Kevin Fournet; his grandchildren, Hannah (Michael), Jude, and Ella; his great-granddaughter, Lucy; his parents, Emile Jon Fournet and Charlyne Lumpkin Falcon; his stepmother, Mary D'Amico Fournet; his sister, Michelle Faxon; his brother, Chad Fournet and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered with love for the many memories he shared with those who loved and knew him.
A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
