Richard A. Fuller, 88, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on September 22, 1937, in Springfield and was the son of the late Theodore and Thelma (Murphy) Fuller. Richard enjoyed meeting new people and talking to everyone, going to car shows with his 1970 GTO, NASCAR, boating, waterskiing, bicycling and so many other outdoor activities. Richard was an Air Force veteran of the 102nd Air Base Group out of Barnes who were made active duty and stationed at Phalsbourg Air Base in France. He was the proud owner of Fuller Auto Body Inc. in Springfield for sixty-five years. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Marcia J. (Lyon) Fuller; their children, Lisa DeCamp of Chicopee, Brenda Corbeille and her husband, Curt of Ludlow and Richard A. Fuller II, and his wife, Carla of Belchertown; a sister Linda Bedard and her husband, Brian of Ludlow; three grandsons, Richard Corbeille, Jason Corbeille and Jeremy Fuller and several nephews, nieces and many cherished friends. He is predeceased by two brothers, Theodore and Alfred. Calling hours are on Sunday, October 26 th from 2 to 5 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee. Richard's burial will be on Tuesday, October 28 th at 9 am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis TN 38105-1905 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306.
