His Legacy… Richard Charles Gallaway, 92, passed away October 26, 2025. He was born September 10, 1933, in Brighton, Michigan to James Gallaway and Marion (Tebo) Gallaway. Richard will be remembered for his love of people, gift of making others laugh, and captivating social spirit. He was a "foodie" at heart, savoring whatever was brought to him. Music was Richard's greatest joy; he could play five different instruments with the accordion being his favorite. He could be found with his wife polka or square dancing every chance they got. Richard was fascinated with tractors and involved with the Hudson Mills Antique Tractor group. Woodworking was another of Richard's hobbies, and he liked making toys and things for the kids. His light, love and laughter will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His Family… Richard will be missed by his children, Larry Gallaway, Barbara Gallaway, Brian Gallaway, Scott (Laura) Gallaway, Lisa Vermette; previous daughter-in-law, Sandra Kazensky; grandchildren, Emily, Alicia, Ashley, Rachel, Austin, Nevaeh, Noah, Elena; great grandchildren, Anderson, Tate, Savanna; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Gallaway; parents, James and Marion Gallaway; son, Michael Gallaway; siblings, James, Dorothy, Irene, Ed, Almeda and Lloyd.
