RIP DOC
Edward D Jankauskas
October 3, 2025
I just heard of Richie "Doc" s passing. I played in his band "Christopher" with Joe Mauro, Paul Haxster, and Mike DiSalvo for years. One of the most talented musician and song writers I will ever know. I have fond memories of him rehearsing in Joe's aunt's garage on Frankford Avenue and remember us hauling his piano in the pouring rain down the street to that garage. So many memories. I still have his 45 recording of "Hattrick in 76" ...May our Lord Bless him and keep him. My condolences to his whole loving family. Sincerely, Edward Jankauskas

I had the pleasure of working with Doc at JBOL cemetery in Mount Laurel. A good guy who people enjoyed being around. I for one also enjoyed Doc's music , I believe he was a talented song writer. Sorry we just didn't keep in touch. May God bless you and now keep you safe and may your family's sorrow fade in time but keep treasured memories forever.

Peg, There are no words to convey my deepest sympathy on the passing of "Doc", as I and many others, knew him. He was a fun and very personable guy. He was thought of so very highly by everyone who knew him. He was always willing to be of help to anyone who needed it. I will always remember him with fondness. May he rest in peace, Sincerely, Sloane Perry
