Richard "Dan" Greer, age 72 of Fitzgerald died Sunday November 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by family
Memorial Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday November 23, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery with John Carr officiating.
Dan was born January 23, 1950 in Sylacuga, Alabama to the late Jessie W. and Mattie Fletcher Greer. He served his country honorably in the Unites States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was with Fitzgerald Ford for many years and spent 15 years with Money Tree ATM, he enjoyed golf, hunting and took great pride in his yard.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Laura Bishop Greer, one daughter, Dana (John) Hadwiger, one son Reggie (Amanda) Greer,grandchildren Aleister Greer, Emily Greer and Josh Hadwiger,one brother Jessie d (Lawanna) Greer, special friends, Beth Goff, Bobby (Peggy) Ellis and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Darnley and one sister in law, Julie Bishop Watson.

My heart was sad to learn of Mr Greer´s passing. Thoughts and prayers for all of the family. I was his chemo nurse in Sylvester.
