Richard A. "Dick" Guisto "Loving husband, father & grandfather" Richard A. "Dick" Guisto, 87, of Sun City, AZ and formerly of Waterbury, passed away on September 2, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Deanne (Donovan) Guisto for 65 years. Dick was born on July 20, 1938 in Waterbury, CT, son of the late Charles and Sarah (DAmelio) Guisto. He served in the Naval Reserves and was assigned to the USS John Willis (DE-1027). Once home, Dick worked as a Tool Setter for Bar Work Manufacturing in Waterbury for 25 years before retiring and relocating to Arizona. Dick was a proud member of the Waterbury Elks Club #265 BPOE and played in their setback league. Above all, he loved his family deeply. Dick cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather, and took great pride in spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife Deanne, he leaves to honor and cherish his memory his four sons Gary Guisto and his wife Kelly Schwab of Chandler, AZ, Jeffrey Guisto of Lake Elsinore, CA, Randy Guisto and his wife Jenifer of Middlebury, CT, and Ricky Guisto of Pheonix, AZ, and his three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Charles Guisto. Arrangements: In accordance with Richards wishes, his services are private and will be at the convenience of the Guisto family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury has been entrusted with Richards services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dicks name to: St. Judes Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105
